The method involves evaluating difference in pressure resulting from temperature change caused during rolling by wheel loads. The difference is developed between tires of front-and rear-axles during a travel. Values for the tire pressure is determined and optionally averaged at the beginning of the travel based on wheel speed information and/or information directly measured from a tire pressure monitoring system. Additional values for the pressure are determined and averaged according to a predetermined travel time for wheels of front-and rear-axles. An independent claim is also included for an electronic brake system for detecting loading condition of a motor vehicle.
