The device (13) has fixing units provided with a skirt (19), and a relief (17) for fixing the device on an upper end of a rigid bearing (3) in axial retention. Sealing units with a throat (23) and a bead (25) hermetically seal an opening (11) of a cowl vent grille (9) connected to the fixing units at the bearing by a deformable section (21), where the section forms a hemispherical shaped boss. The deformable section comprises a shoulder resting on an internal face of the grille, where the section deforms by stretching and compression. The device is made of flexible plastic e.g. ethylene propylene diene monomer.
