PROFILE USE SUPPORTING DEVICE, PROFILE USE SUPPORTING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a profile use supporting device which supports use of a profile in hue determining operation for ink.

SOLUTION: A color difference between color reproduced through application of a first profile selected optionally from a profile group and color reproduced through application of a second profile other than the first profile is calculated, the second profiles are arrayed according to the calculated color differences, and file names as identification information of the second profiles are displayed on a retrieval result display screen in the arrayed order. Then the second profile selected in the retrieval result display screen is applied to display an image.
