Use of acetyl-L-leucine in the treatment of vestibular neuritis

Disclosed is the use of acetyl-L-leucine and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of vestibular neuritis, and wherein the medicament may be formulated for administration of acetyl-L-leucine by the oral or intravenous routes at a dose between 100 mg and 20 g per day, and more preferably between 100 mg and 2-4g per day without interruption.
