<p>Provided is a curtain airbag which can be smoothly expanded and unfolded without provision of a guide member. An airbag (2) which, due to gas being supplied, appears inside a vehicle interior (CR) from pillars (102, 104, 105) disposed at a side of a car body (101) or from a space (RM) located in the upper section of a window (W), and which expands and unfolds along the pillars (102, 104, 105) or the window (W), wherein the airbag (2) comprises, in a passenger restraining region (AR) in which it is possible for a passenger sitting in the vehicle interior (CR) to be restrained from the sides when the airbag (2) expands and unfolds: a front chamber (2a) and a rear chamber (2b) which inflate and unfold by means of gas and thereby restrain the sides of the passenger; and a pushing chamber (50) which pushes a small chamber (2a3) in the front chamber (2a) toward the vehicle interior (CR).</p> |
