The method involves winding a roller on a support plate (20) as a core of a construction. The support plate is provided for serving a fiber reinforcement band (14) as a construction part. The matrix material is incorporated in the formed construction. One or multiple fiber reinforcement band layers are formed on the support plate. An independent claim is also included for a fiber course machine roller with a roll shell.
