The invention relates to a page marker made from a flexible laminar material and comprising: a marking element (1) that can be inserted on the current page (51) of a book or similar (50), a securing element (4) to be positioned between two pages of the book or similar (50) beyond the current page (51), and a connecting arm (5) connecting the marking element (1) and the securing element (4) above the upper edges of the pages of the book or similar (50). The marking element (1) comprises a weakened line (6) defining a bending axis (E1) substantially parallel to the upper edges of the pages and facilitating the spontaneous movement of the marking element (1) to the next page, by bending the marking element (1) around the first bending axis (E1) and by bending and/or twisting the connecting arm (5) when the current page (51) is turned.
