<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a specific shape on a surface of a polymer film using a transfer roll or an embossing roll, and to provide a shape including no defect such as flaws, stripes or the like caused by the transfer roll or embossing roll, while extending service life of the transfer roll or embossing roll. <P>SOLUTION: A film having mold releasability is inserted into a space between the transfer roll or embossing roll to be used and a polymer film forming a shape. The specific shape formed at the transfer roll or embossing roll is formed on the polymer film through the mold releasable film to eliminate defects such as flaws and stripes to be caused by the transfer roll or embossing roll or to reduce them to a trouble-free level, thereby providing a polymer film applicable to a substrate for optical use or electric use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
