#CMT# #/CMT# The bearing (1) has rolling members (4) arranged between outer and coaxial inner bearing rings (2, 3) and rolling on raceways (5, 6) at the bearing rings. Axially spaced guide rims (8, 10) at the bearing rings radially extend over pitch circle diameter (26) of the bearing. Front surfaces (15, 16) of the rolling members are formed in convex shape, and annular contact areas (11, 12) of the guide rims are concavely curved. The annular contact areas form free spaces (17, 18) in a narrow region of the pitch circle diameter, where no contact with the front surfaces is achieved in the free spaces. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Radial roller bearing i.e. single-row cylindrical roller bearing. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The front surfaces of the rolling members are formed in the convex shape, and the annular contact areas of the guide rims are concavely curved and form the free spaces in the narrow region of the pitch circle diameter, where no contact with the front surfaces is achieved in the free spaces, thus reducing the burden of the radial roller bearing and its rolling members resulting from axial loading, and avoiding execution of additional processing steps by the bearing, and hence improving lubrication in a region among the front surfaces and contact areas while simplifying manufacturing of the bearing. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a cross-sectional view of an upper half of a radial roller bearing. 1 : Radial roller bearing 2 : Outer bearing ring 3 : Coaxial inner bearing ring 4 : Rolling members 5, 6 : Raceways 8, 10 : Axially spaced guide rims 11, 12 : Annular contact areas 15, 16 : Front surfaces of rolling members 17, 18 : Free spaces 26 : Pitch circle diameter.
|
