PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food packaging material capable of cutting an elongated food without using a cutting tool even in any place or in any case.

SOLUTION: A plurality of lines of threads or superfine tapes (2) are placed and temporarily stuck to the surface of a monolayer polyolefin film (1) or on a polyolefin side surface of layered film-like material (1) of which at least the one surface is made of polyolefin, except for both ends in parallel at a regular interval, and a soft elongated article (3) is placed in the direction at a right angle to the threads or the superfine tapes (2) and can be wrapped such that the surface of the monolayer polyolefin film (1) or the polyolefin side surface of layered film-like material (1) of which at least the one surface is made of polyolefin is brought into contact with the outer surface of the elongated article (3).
