PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when copy control information having been extended (hereinafter referred to as "extended copy control information") is attached to content to be copyrighted, all copy control information cannot be transmitted in a format defined by the system because of the limits of header size, etc.SOLUTION: A content transmitting method for transmitting content to a content receiving apparatus connected through a network includes transmitting copy control information of the content to be transmitted as a packet different from that of the content just before a content serving as the object of the copy control information in the same application layer session.
