PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate the movement of a knee air bag module to a vehicle front side at a vehicle frontal collision while suppressing an increase in mass and cost.SOLUTION: The knee air bag device 10 for the vehicle includes: the knee air bag module 12 having a case 18 fixed to a vehicle body and a knee air bag 14 which expands and develops on a vehicle rear side of the case 18 at the vehicle frontal collision; and a first reactive force receiving member 42 which is provided between a dash panel 44 and the case 18, and regulates the movement to the vehicle front side of the case 18 by receiving the reactive force from the dash panel 44 when the load is input on the vehicle front side in the case 18 through the knee air bag 14 at the vehicle frontal collision. In this constitution, the movement to the vehicle front side of the knee air bag module 12 can be regulated by the first reactive force receiving member 42 at the vehicle frontal collision, and the mass and cost can be suppressed since there is no need for substantial reinforcement of a fixing part of the case 18 to an instrument panel reinforcement. |
