LASER ARC COMBINATION WELDING METHOD AND METHOD OF PRODUCING WELDED MEMBER ACCORDING TO THE WELDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method capable of providing a preferable bead shape and suppressing welding defects such as blow hole while enhancing welding speed to about 20 m/min, and to provide a method of producing a welded member using the welding method.

SOLUTION: The welding method for performing butt welding of both end parts of a flat sheet or a belt-like sheet formed in a tubular shape, made of stainless steal, titanium or a titanium alloy includes a process of causing laser welding to be done first and causing TIG arc welding to be done next in the welding on a butt welding part while arranging laser beam irradiation and arc discharging on the same welding line to perform laser and arc combined welding.
