PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal printer which can perform more minute printing. SOLUTION: While making a thermal head support member 3 for supporting a thermal head 15 held with sliding free against a rotation support member 4, the rotation support member 4 is mounted to be able to rotate with making the heating part 15a of the thermal head 15 as the center against a couple of side plates 7, 7. Thereby, the thermal head becomes rotation adjustable around the center of the heating part according to the kinds of recording paper, and then the thermal printer 1 which can perform more minute printing irrespective of the kinds of recording paper is provided.
