<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel circuit that may achieve reduction in cost together with high image quality, and to provide a display device, a method of driving the display device, and electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: A scan line driver circuit 23 performs the following operation in an ON period when a threshold-correction auxiliary transistor Tr3 is set to an on state by applying a switching control pulse to a scan line WSL2. The circuit operates a gate potential correction of decreasing a gate potential Vg of a driving transistor Tr by inputting a voltage change in a scan line WSL1 from a voltage Von1 to a voltage Voff1 to a gate of the drive transistor Tr2 via the threshold-correction auxiliary transistor Tr3 and a threshold-correction auxiliary capacitor C2. Thereby, insufficient Vth correction caused by an excessive increase of a source potential Vs in the drive transistor Tr2 can be avoided without using a three-valued voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
