The system has a rope unwinding device (5) with multiple rope coils (9), from which rope, for e.g. wire rope (3) is uncoiled. The rope is embedded in a conveyor belt (1). The rope unwinding device is formed as rope unwinding and tensioning device, in which the rope is separately tensioned. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing conveyor belts with wire rope core.
