PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string pull out aid for pulling out a paper string or a vinyl string used for packing things, organizing documents, etc. from a string bundle rolled in a hollow bundle condition neither with entanglement nor with excessive sticking out. SOLUTION: The string pull out aid is made of a relatively wide elastic rubber ring 3 which includes connecting parts 4 and 5 at each 180°phase difference position of the ring 3. The ring is formed shorter than the outer periphery in the thickness direction of a string bundle 2 formed by rolling a string 1 in a hollow bundle condition so that the ring by being elongated can bind up and press the bundle 2 in the outer peripheral thickness direction. The center of the ring 3 is cut in the circumferential direction leaving the parts 4 and 5 for forming two sets of bands 7 and 8 divided into right and left by a cut part 6. One connecting part 4 of the parts 4 and 5 is formed with a pull out opening 9 for the string 1 to be inserted and pulled out after the string is pulled out from the inside of the bundle 2.
