PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device capable of easily specifying the position of a material to be removed, adhering to the circumferential surface of a photosensitive drum. SOLUTION: A drum unit 3 is detachably attached to a body casing 2. A toner image is formed, on the circumferential surface of the photosensitive drum 5 held by the drum unit 3, by a scorotron type electrifier 6, a developing roller 8, and an exposure unit 10. The toner image formed on the circumferential surface of the photosensitive drum 5 is transferred to a sheet P by a transfer roller 13. A check image 40 is formed on the sheet P. A region to which the toner image is transferred on the sheet P can be identified as a plurality of divided regions 43 arranged in the axis line direction of the photosensitive drum 5 by the check image 40. Also, numbers (1 to 8), for identifying each region corresponding to each divided region 43 in the circumferential surface of the photosensitive drum 5, are described on the drum unit 3.
