<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detector preventing a short circuit between an electrode for current detection and another part, or a current leakage, from occurring, thereby preventing malfunction and circuit faults caused by the occurrence thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This current detector 100 is equipped with: a bus bar 110 as a resistor; a current detection terminal 110A detecting a potential difference between two points along a current-carrying direction of the bus bar 110 and a ground terminal 110B for sensing; a circuit board 120 mounted with a current detection circuit detecting a current flowing through the resistor based on voltages between these terminals; a casing 130 having a recess that forms an internal space storing the circuit board 120; and a lid 150 closing the recess in the casing 130. The internal space of the casing 130 and the circuit board 120 are disposed in non-parallel to the ground.
