NAVIGATION SYSTEM, SERVER CONNECTED TO THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM, AND CONTROL METHOD OF A NAVIGATION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A navigation system, a server connected to the navigation system, and a control method for a car navigation are provided to offer a variety of services including path guide information and accident hazard area information which is obtained from image data mapped with location information. CONSTITUTION: A car navigation(100) comprises a display part, an input part(120), a storage part(150), a communication part(110), and a control part(170). The input part is inputted with information corresponding to a reference position. The storage part stores video data and map data mapped with first location information. The communication part receives the image data from the black box of a vehicle. The control part obtains second location information from the map data using the input information, searches the image data mapped with the first location information within a set range based on the second location information from the storage part, and outputs the search result through the display part.
