<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device in which connection to an external device which can be accomplished by a relatively simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic device includes: a plurality of storage parts; a connecting part; a receiving part; and a communication part. The connecting part is connectable to a first external device. The first external device is the external device which can recognize only a part of the plurality of storage parts simultaneously. The receiving part receives from a user a select instruction that specifies which of the storage parts will be recognized by the external device when the first external device is connected to the connecting part. The communication part communicates with the first external device. The communication part automatically establishes communication with the first external device in a state where a predefined storage part is recognized from among the plurality of storage parts, when the first external device is connected to the connecting part, and establishes communication with the first external device in a state where the storage part selected according to the select instruction is recognized from among the plurality of storage parts, when the receiving part receives the select instruction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
