PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve insufficient supply of secondary air for combustion to an upper side of a burner port, and to provide good combustion by preventing mixing of a combustion exhaust gas into the secondary air for combustion supplied to the upper side of the burner port. SOLUTION: In this gas burner 1 for a cooking stove, an air-intake 8 for taking the secondary air for combustion is formed on a part of an outer peripheral wall 4a of a hollow annular burner head section 3 on a position separating from the burner port 7 at a lower side of the burner port 7. A gas passage 10 for guiding a premixed gas from a mixing pipe 2 to the burner port 7, is formed on an inner peripheral side of the burner head section 3, and a secondary air passage 9 is formed to guide the secondary air for combustion, taken from the air intake 8 to an upper side of the burner port 7 through a top face of a burner cap 6 from an inner peripheral side of the burner cap 6 by the passage different from the gas passage 10.
