<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the removal of a conveyed object during conveying as soon as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A distance X1 traveled by the conveyed object after the conveyed object is known from a detection result of a first detector 11 to have passed a first position K1 and a distance X2 traveled by the conveyed object after the conveyed object is known from a detection result of a second detector to have passed a second position K2 are calculated. The difference of the first traveled distance X1 minus the second traveled distance X2 with the gap L1 between the first position K1 and the second position K2 after the existence of the conveyed object is not detected at the second position K2.
