PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade for an axial blower and a method for manufacturing the blade, which achieve reductions in the manufacturing manpower and manufacturing cost of the blade and achieve quality identification inside the blade, by simplifying the manufacturing procedure and structure of the blade portion and flange portions which are integrally formed. SOLUTION: This blade for the axial blower is configured to connect the blade portion 1 made of fiber-reinforced plastic compound material and flange portions 2a, 2b attaching the root 1y of the blade portion 1 to a rotor shaft. The blade portion 1 and flange portions 2a, 2b are divided into two of a belly side 1a and a back side 1b in the axial direction of the blade portion 1, and the divided portions are connected to each other through an adhesive to form an adhesion layer 6.
