PURPOSE: A switch device for stylus pen is provided to reduce power consumption by turning on and off the power of a battery unit when detaching a pen cover unit of a battery embedded stylus pen from a pen. CONSTITUTION: A pen body unit(11) embeds a battery unit and a circuit unit. A pen cover unit(12) is mounted and demounted from the body of the pen unit. A switch unit(13) is embedded in the body of the pen unit. The switch unit turns on and off the power supply of the battery unit according to the mounting or demounting of the pen cover unit. The pen cover unit is mounted and demounted from the body of pen part. When the pen cover unit is mounted and demounted from the body of the pen unit, a contact unit(12a) contacts and separates the connection terminal provided on the switch unit and the contact terminal connected to the circuit unit.
