PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for offering conversation service using a card is provided to allow the phone call service, when the phone call service charge, corresponding to the predetermined allowed time before interlinking to the called number, is payed in advance and the payment is successfully processed. CONSTITUTION: A billing unit(122) receives the card identification information and a called party information from a user terminal. A billing unit calculates the basic service charge corresponding to the phone call allowance time. A settlement gateway interworking unit(124) requests the payment for the basic service charge based on the card identification number to the payment server. If the payment is processed normally, the telephony call processing unit(125) interrlink between the user terminal and the called terminal during the phone call allowance time. |
