<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation utilizable for the efficient proliferation of stem cells. <P>SOLUTION: The composition for proliferating the stem cells contains a polypeptide described in the following (a) or (b), or a derivative thereof: (a) a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence represented by SSVLYGGPPSAA (sequence number 1); and (b) a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence obtained by deleting, substituting, inserting or adding one or several amino acids from, with or to the amino acid sequence represented by the specific sequence, and having the stem cell-proliferating activity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
