PURPOSE: A relaying method for increasing the frequency-selective characteristic of a wireless channel and a relaying unit are provided to reduce interference for users located at the edge of a cell through amplification of only terminals within a coverage area thereof. CONSTITUTION: Each relay unit(200) establishes information about a relay target frequency band. The relay unit transmits a control signal including the information to one or more relay units. The one or more relay units extract the information about the frequency band within the control signal. According to the information, the one or more relay units amplify a signal. The one or more relay units transmit the amplified signal to one or more terminals(300).
