The method involves superimposing texture layer (ET) on a substrate surface (S1) of a substrate (S) by printing a substance (T) by gravure printing. A composition comprises a solution of a printing ink and a solution of thickening medium which is mixed with the printing ink in a container. An independent claim is also included for a composition with a texture layer forming substance.
