The vehicle has a storage measuring unit (3) determining a difference between charge states of storage modules (7) e.g. capacitors, during a drive and generating a warning signal with excess of maximum threshold value for difference of the charge states. A hybrid drive (1) is transmitted in to a symmetrical condition during a driving time interruption of a vehicle driver automatically or manually based on the signal. The storage modules are charged by a motor-/generator unit (6) in a symmetrical condition such that the difference of the charging states of the storage modules is reduced. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a motor vehicle.
