<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound of a precursor for modifying a substance with a poly(alkylene oxide). <P>SOLUTION: The compound is represented by general formula of the figure (wherein M is a group of the formula: -L-(CH(R)CH<SB>2</SB>O)p-; X is -(CH<SB>2</SB>)q-Y; -L- is a single bond or linking group to be cleft in living body; R is H or methyl; Y is H, protected hydroxy, amino, carboxy, acetal or thiol; p is an integer of 5-50,000; q is an integer of 1-12; R<SP>1</SP>is H, tetrahydropyranyl or another hydroxy protective group; one of A and B is a functional group to be bonded to a group in an organic substance on a solid support and the other is the same protected hydroxy as that defined for the Y or A and B are mutually independently hydroxy or the same protected hydroxy as that defined for the Y or A and B are bonded to express a single bond). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
