PURPOSE: A multifunctional adapter for an arc welding machine and a torch connecting apparatus are provided to enable the selective supply of power, gas, and welding rod wire. CONSTITUTION: A multifunctional adapter for an arc welding machine comprises a conductive holder, a cover fixture(10), a locking cap(40), a fastening ring(50), and a power link(60). The conductive holder comprises a welding rod wire inserting hole and a torch inserting hole. The cover fixture includes a fixing hole for the insertion of the conductive holder. The locking cap has a female screw and a through hole. The female screw part is screwed with the end of the conductive holder formed with the torch inserting hole. The connector of the torch passes through the through hole. The fastening ring is made of conductive material and is placed inside the female screw part of the locking cap. A part of the fastening ring is inserted into the inside of the torch inserting hole. The power link is coupled with the outside of the wire insertion hole of the conductive holder and supplies power to the conductive holder.
