PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel lifting implement which enables the arbitrary number of panels to be lifted and transferred in the state of being wound with a sling by a simple and safe method, in the operation of transferring the panel mainly composed an ALC panel and provided with a groove such as a tooled joint, and also to provide a method for transferring the panel. SOLUTION: The panel lifting implement B makes a panel 1 lifted so that a lifting sling 53 is wound around the panels 1 stacked in such a manner that a surface formed with the plurality of linear grooves 2 from one end surface to the other end surface facing it is directed downward. The panel lifting implement B consists of: a horizontal arm 10, the central portion of which is equipped with: an annular hooking piece 12 for hooking a hook 52 etc.; a pair of suspended arm 20, the lower end of which is equipped with an almost horizontal panel supporting rod insertion hole 23 and suspended from the horizontal arm 10; and a panel supporting rod 40 which has a shape corresponding to a shape of the groove 2 of the panel 1, which is inserted through the panel supporting rod insertion hole 23 of the suspended arm 20, and which is inserted into the groove 2 from the end surface of the panel 1.
