<p>A method for password change includes: a password generation rule is set or modified for a terminal. A user inputs a password when accessing a protected file stored in the terminal. The terminal obtains the current password according to the password generation rule. If the password inputted by user is the same with the current password, then the user is permitted to access the protected file, else the user is not permitted to access the file. The present invention also provides the terminal for password change. In the present invention, the terminal can automatically change the password according to the password generation rule preset by the user. Thereby password automatic change is enabled and the user does not need to initiatively change the password. So, even though the course of user inputting the password at one time is peeped at by someone else, and he tries to access the terminal document by using the peeped password. He can't succeed because the password in the terminal has changed automatically at this time.</p> |
