PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of improving cooling efficiency of a refrigerating cycle. SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes a compressor, a condenser, a refrigerating cooler cooling a refrigerating compartment, a freezing cooler cooling a freezing compartment, a change-over valve switching a flow of a refrigerant between the refrigerating cooler and the freezing cooler, and a control part controlling operation of the change-over valve. When a specific condition is satisfied, the control part switches and performs a refrigerating mode for making the refrigerant flow in the refrigerating cooler side and a freezing mode for making the refrigerant flow in the freezing cooler side. The specific condition is changed so that times for executing the refrigerant mode and the freezing mode are elongated when the compressor is stopped. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
