PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel fastening structure which mounts a steering wheel in a regular mounting position and prevents the boss of the steering wheel from swelling or sinking. SOLUTION: The steering wheel fastening structure 10 includes a tapered shaft 21 formed on a steering shaft 13 and a tapered hole 35 formed on a steering wheel 16, and the tapered hole 35 is taper-coupled to the tapered shaft 21. In the steering wheel fastening structure 10, a stepped part 22 having a different tapered angle is provided at the end 21a of the tapered shaft 21, and a stepped hole 34 having a different tapered angle is provided at the end 35a of the tapered hole 35.
