<p>A folding table having a simple mechanism, using a reduced number of parts, thin, compact, lightweight, not requiring a space for expanding locking members when switched between a use position and a stowage position, and allowing the space under the table to be used effectively. A folding table (1) is configured in such a manner that the table body (10) can be moved between a use position and a stowage position, and the folding table (1) is provided with: a table frame (20) disposed within the table body (10) and supporting the table body (10); a support member (40) for pivotably supporting the table frame (20); and a lock means (30) provided to the position of connection between the support member (40) and the table frame (20) and holding the table frame (20) at the use position to prevent the table frame (20) from pivoting. The lock means (30) is provided with an engagement member (31) in which an engagement groove (32) is formed, a pivoting member (35) which can engage with and be disengaged from the engagement groove (32), and a lock pressing means (36) which presses the pivoting member (35) in the direction in which the pivoting member (35) engages with the engagement groove (32).</p> |
