PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus, having a first case and a second case to be positioned in a plurality of states with respect to the first case, capable of determining a startup state of an application program in a transition between states in response to a simple input operation by a user. SOLUTION: A mobile phone 10 has a first case and a second case, which is positioned in a plurality of states with respect to the first case, and includes an input unit 17 for receiving a predetermined input operation for bringing a startup state of an application program in a transition among a plurality of states to any one of a normal startup state and an ending state, a main control unit 34 for controlling operation of the mobile phone, or the like. The main control unit 34 functions at least as an application startup state control unit for controlling the startup state of the application program to be a startup state assigned to a predetermined input operation, in accordance with an application startup state control program, when the predetermined input operation is received and a positioning state transits to a closed state.
