PURPOSE: A parking brake for a vehicle is provided to enable an adjuster spring to be elastically supported stably and easily since a support protrusion is circularly formed on the inner surface of a piston, unlike to a circlip. CONSTITUTION: A parking brake for a vehicle comprises a caliper housing, a piston(30), an adjuster(81) and an actuator. The caliper housing enables a disc, which rotates with the wheels of the vehicle, to make tight contact with disc pads, which are installed on both sides of the disc. The caliper housing comprises a finger unit and a body unit. The piston is prepared to be able to slide to the caliper housing. The piston moves the disc pad to the disc by oil pressure or propulsion, which is mechanically generated. The piston comprises an adjuster spring(85) and a support protrusion(84). The adjuster spring elastically supports the adjuster. The support protrusion is protruded inwardly from the inner surface of the piston. The support protrusion supports one end of the adjuster spring.
