PURPOSE: A method for connecting an optical drop cable, an optical drop cable connected by the method, and a connection set for connecting an optical drop cable are provided to quickly and stably connect an optical drop cable. CONSTITUTION: A method for connecting an optical drop cable(10,10') comprises the following steps. A connected optical drop cable is peeled. A gasket with a pipe shape is inserted into the optical drop cable. A connection pipe is inserted into the optical drop cable. Optical fibers of the optical drop cables are connected by a heat shrinkable sleeve. The connection pipe moves to surround the optical fiber exposed to the outside and the heat shrinkable sleeve. |
