A view image obtained in the image pickup process of an X-ray CT and having a high time resolution can be displayed. When displayed, by subtracting from a view image the background image obtained by a forward projection calculation of a CT image, the background is removed from the view image, thereby projecting only a region on which attention is focused. This makes it possible to obtain a transmission image of the region on which attention is focused, the transmission image having a high display contrast and being hard to receive the effects of motion artifacts. As a result, in an X-ray CT device used for image diagnosis, diagnostic ability reduction attributable to motion artifacts can be prevented.
