<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an inkjet recording medium excellent in water resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the inkjet recording medium, a coating layer containing an inorganic fine particle, a water-soluble resin and a boron compound are formed on a substrate, and after the coating layer shows a decreasing drying rate, a liquid containing the boron compound is applied to the layer so that the applied amount of the boron compound is 0.25-2.0 g/m<SP>2</SP>in terms of boric acid. Thereby an ink receiving layer has the content of the boron compound within the range of 0.25-1.0 by mass in terms of boric acid with respect to the water-soluble resin 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
