PURPOSE: A dispersion server based grid system and a method of operating the same are provided to reduce the bottle neck phenomenon of a server and supply a stable service to agents by controlling the storage of data according to data storage capacitance of a sub server. CONSTITUTION: Sub servers(200) stores result data transferred by a resource providing computer(300), periodically checks available data storage capacitance, and outputs load information. A main server(100) allocates dispersion processing works by using the idle processing capability of the resource providing computer. The main server checks the state of the sub server based on the load information and designates the sub server for storing the result data.
