<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-way selector valve capable of suppressing any excessive rise in the pressure of a high-pressure refrigerant during a transition of flow path switching and of preventing a device from being stopped unduly due to erroneous decisions of anomaly/failure occurrence in the device which are made by a fail-safe mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A valve body is provided with a valve seat provided with a first inlet/outlet 13 and a second inlet/outlet 14 which selectively communicate with an outlet of a high-pressure passage part, and a valve chest to which a low-pressure fluid is introduced through the first inlet/outlet 13 and a second inlet/outlet 14. During the transition of flow path switching, an outlet side end 55a of the high-pressure passage part 55 in the valve body 50 is slid while being pressed against a part between the first inlet/outlet 13 and a second inlet/outlet 14 in the valve seat 65. An escape passage part 69 made up of a groove, a notch, a through-hole or the like is formed between the first inlet/outlet 13 and the second inlet/outlet 14 in the valve seat to allow a high-pressure refrigerant of the high-pressure passage part 55 to escape to a valve chest side during the transition of flow path switching. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
