PURPOSE: A seat for a vehicle is provided to reduce the injury of a passenger by appropriately damping rapid front acceleration when a real collision. CONSTITUTION: A seat for a vehicle comprises a link unit and a link restriction member(1). The link unit is composed of multiple connection links(9) which connect a seat frame(3) and a seat back bracket(7). The seat frame supports a seat cushion. The seat back bracket supports a seat back. The link restriction member restricts the vertical movement of the seat back by controlling the rotation of the link unit. The link restriction member comprises a tail part(13) with a strength reducing unit.
