PURPOSE: A system for adjusting buffering time of streaming service and a method thereof are provided to determins an initial buffering time based on a specific parameter about a video contents, thereby providing optimized streaming service. CONSTITUTION: A database(140) stores video contents and at least one of contents information about a video contents. A streaming server(130) determines a buffering time based on at least one of property parameter. At least one of specific parameter comprises contents information relevant to the video contents. The streaming server provides the video contents to a mobile terminal according to the determined buffering time. |
