PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder and an image forming device improving removing performance of jam paper, easy in replacing a separation member. SOLUTION: A paper feeding unit 31 separated from the separation member (a reverse roller 29) of a separation unit 78 is constituted by integrally installing a pickup roller 20 of a sheet feeder 8, a support 30 for rotatably supporting this pickup roller and a feed roller 28. The separation unit 78 separated from the paper feeding unit 31 is constituted by integrally installing the separation member, the support 30 for supporting this separation member and a guide member guiding a recording sheet 7 downstream in the carrying direction.
