OPTICAL DISK AND INFORMATION RECORDING METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk medium capable of recording data with high quality even in a high density optical disk having ≥30 GB recording capacity per one recording layer.

SOLUTION: In the optical disk medium where integer values used for specifying a time width and a starting time or an ending time of a recording pulse are recorded, information for selecting whether the time width and the starting time or the ending time of the recording pulse is specified by a product of a unit time of a size proportional to a channel bit clock period and an integer value or by a product of a unit time proportional to the channel bit clock period and a value formed by adding a half-integer value to the integer value is recorded.
