PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for suppressing power consumption of a memory controller, which is applied even to a processor system of multi-CPU.SOLUTION: A processor system connected to an external memory includes a main processor, a communication processor equipped with an internal memory and a communication interface, and a memory control means which controls permission for use of the external memory and which is accessed by both the main processor and the communication processor. The memory control means shifts to a power saving mode when there is no access from the main processor nor the communication processor, and shifts to an activated mode when a process that uses the communication interface of the communication processor is not executed only with the internal memory, allowing the communication processor to use the external memory. |
