PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray shield device driven to open or close at a high speed and an X-ray shielding method. SOLUTION: A second crystal member 2 having lattice intervals equal to the lattice intervals of a first crystal member 1 and having a lattice plane substantially parallel to the thickness direction with respect to the crystal member 1 having a lattice plane substantially parallel to the thickness direction is oppositely disposed so that the lattice plane of the crystal member 1 is substantially parallel to the lattice plane of the crystal member 2. Then, X-rays 10 are imported into the crystal member 1, and transmitted X-rays and diffracted X-rays launched after being transmitted or diffracted by the crystal member 1 are superimposed on each other to form a standing wave 30. Then, the standing wave 30 is imported into the crystal member 2 while the first and second crystal members 2 and 3 are caused to make relative motion with at least a magnitude not less than the lattice intervals of the crystal members 1 and 2.
